This week sucked.  I’m not sure what the point was of having them go camping.  And I think Brody’s real friends were a bit offended that they didn’t get to go …but the showed up anyways with a crocodile.

The therapy session was a bit abnormal to me.  And when Gary had to yell, “I am enough”  … I knew the show was downhill from there…and I don’t have much hope for the rest of the season either.

I was sad to see Gary go home, but I am starting to realize that it will be impossible to eliminate Femi … because at this point he is the most entertaining character that the show has.  I think it might come down to Luke and Femi in the end

…or maybe Alex and Femi …

either way Femi will be there and little Chris will be eliminated next.

So I think my favorite part of every episode is the temptation.  And this one was super fun because both partners got to participate.  Little did anyone know that Carla would eat three days worth of food in order to get Bob and Joelle to come to Detroit.

And I’m glad she did.

I think Carla’s blowup at Joelle was quite possibly even worse than Bob’s.  It’s one thing for an almost stranger to get mad at you but when someone who claims to be your best friend does it it seems to cut a little bit deeper.  And Joelle still had the same reaction…which appears to be no reaction.  She’s so not fired up about, she doesn’t seem mad, she doesn’t seem happy, she just doesn’t seem.  Which is so frustrating … especially since Carla let her stay there.

But really that wasn’t the biggest surprise…the elimination was.  I was sure that the red team was going to be safe because everyone hates Joelle….but not so much.  I’m not sure if it was pure gameplay by Jillian’s team to torture Bob’s team and keep them unfocused or if they really thought that the heaviest woman in Biggest Loser history (Carla) deserved a chance to at least get back to the ranch…but Joelle got to stay.  Now Joelle started crying … and I’m not convinced that it wasn’t because she had to stay.

It looks like from the preview that the teams are reunited this week…and I’m not sure how it’s been 30 days … if someone could explain that to me it would be great.  I’m excited though to see Carla and Joeelle together with Bob in addition to having the whole team against Joelle.  There is going to be another blowup I can feel it.

I was SO disappointed this episode.

I was shocked at Michael’s reaction to Erica tell him what she really did.  He  was all about the playboy bunny … but i guess penthouse pet is a no-no.  He said he couldn’t be happier during the date and then he just turned his back on her.  I am so mad that he picked Amanada…$5 it didn’t work out.  I thought his mother had a better reaction to the whole situation than he did.  Granted his mom has never seen a penthouse…but I think she was smart enough to know that it was obviously worse than playboy with how upset Erica was.  I was really happy that his mom still tried to push Erica in their final meeting.  I thought the clip they showed at the end with Erica and Lorraine (Michael’s mom) was soooo cute … friendship bracelets …lol.  And I was also very happy to see that someone did find love on the show and that Erica and Lorraine are still together and that she visited her in Florida.  Hopefully Erica got to see Michael too … I think there was really a spark there…he was just mad.

On to Rob.  Oh Rob … I thought he had claimed his manhood a few weeks ago…but his mother revoked his man priveleges.  I’m so upset with Esther.  She was once my second favorite mom (Michael’s mom was the best) and now I think she might be tied with Mrs. B because she kept her son from being happy.  I was actually a little shocked that Rob kissed Lauren … oh wait she kissed him.  But I was surprised that he let the kissing go on a long as it did.  Everyone knows he should have picked Camilla…even his mother…you can teach someone about your culture but you cannot teach someones heart how to love someone they aren’t supposed to…and besides its a reality TV show … these relationships don’t last.  He should have just picked Camilla … then he wouldn’t have had to leave the vacation early.

Now on to JoJo.  Who is no longer a Momma’s Boy … I doubt that Mrs. B is talking to him because he chose a girl over her.  Ok now seriously does anyone else find it odd how affectionate she is with her son … and how she’s always saying how handsome, and sexy, and muscular he is.  And how she wanted to to cuddle and dance and go in the ocean.  I’m glad JoJo started to see how weird that sort of behavior is.  His mom wants to be his girlfriend…creepy.  I think NBC did an excellent job of editing it together with JoJo’s thoughts, the things that his mom was asking him to do, and his date with Mindy.  I was actually SHOCKED that JoJo picked Mindy over his mother, but really happy for him to finally have taken his balls back from his mother and to finally have cut the umbilical cord.  I was not shocked that Mrs. B refused counseling…but man does she need it.

I’m not sure if there should be a second season of this show…maybe as a summer filler but not during real tv time.  It seems like one of those shows that more people would have watched had there been nothing else on.

If it’s okay with all of you I would like to not blog about Tool Academy anymore.  There is just too much to say about how ridiculous the show is.  And I’m not sure my commentary on the show is as witty as I would hope …because i’m writing about tools.  If there are any strong objections please let me know.

Alright so this weeks show was supposedly filmed in Champaign, IL… but most of it was not.   And how do I know this…Because there is one and only one World Famous Big Al’s … and that is located in Peoria, IL…I know this because I went to school in Peoria.

Anywho…

This episode was full of all kinds of crazy … including Lacey.  It just seems to me that ice skating was more dangerous than having them on roller blading mostly because there were blades involved.  I thought these girls were so funny on skates and little Beverly with her pretending to not know how to skate wasn’t that precious.  I was very excited that they one the date … because Beverly needed some time with him … she’s like this seasons Payton which is why I like her.  She’s not trying to get all naked and do him like the other girls are.  Which was definitely shown when they were at Big Al’s … lets talk about Brittaney though … can we say train wreck plus a bit of hot mess.  Oh and she is crazy.  I think the funniest moment of the show was when the girls decided to go through her bed on the bus because it smelled.  And then they found food…and socks.  I really liked the VH1 disclaimer about it not being a dramatization when the showed her taking the socks.  WHO TAKES SOCKS…regardless of whether you asked the rink owners or not.  That is so nasty.  And the fact that she thought she needed to hide the socks in a sock means she knew it was weird.  What are you going to do with that many socks?  I thought maybe she was going to perform some voodoo on the other girls because the were being “mean” to her.  I would like to take back my comment about her being this seasons Kristy Joe … even Kristy Joe wasn’t this bananas …b-a-n-a-n-a-s.

Let’s get to the other drama of the evening with Melissa.  1) How did she get a cell phone.  Doesn’t production search before the show starts to prevent leaks on the Internet about what’s going on?  2)If she were going to use her cell phone … why didn’t she go outside? 3)Bret Michaels has hair extensions.  I think my favorite part of the entire confrontation was that she said the girls were jealous of her because she was intelligent and carried herself well.  Well obviously she’s not that intelligent because she let the other girls hear her on the phone … and she popped her boob during the ice hockey game…if you land on a balloon its going to pop … duh!

In the end I’m glad those two went home … but where is the entertainment going to come from now that they are gone?

Alright just wanted to let you know that I am watching American Idol.  There’s just not much to comment on right now.  There are good people, bad people, crazy people.  I’ll probably start commenting about it when get to the show before the first show where they start competing for votes.

Yet another apology is in order because I am super behind this week.  I am trying to get all caught up today.

So this week we follow the girls to the hometowns of the final four contestants…and who wouldn’t want to bring that home for dinner?  Actually I don’t think most parents would want that to come home for dinner.  Did anyone else notice that they happened to be wearing more clothing when they were visiting the girls than when they were visiting the boys?  Weird.  Visiting Trevor’s parents was awkward to watch because they were obviously uncomfortable.  Rebekah’s family seemed very welcoming … except her son who only loved Vikki.  Rosemarie’s house was bananas and it was essentially a coming out party.  I think her lesbian cousin was just jealous because she had two hot blondes on her arm.  Scotty’s family was just as I expected … crazy.

In the end Rosemarie was sent packing.  I wasn’t surprised.  And now it is down to the final three which means either 1 person gets eliminated or 2 people get eliminated and the person has to chose one.  Either way I think Trevor will end up with one of the girls.
